Steven Newlands has joined CBRE Scotland as head of capital markets and senior board manager. He joins from Cushman & Wakefield, where he was an investment agent.
Farebrother has appointed Tom Swanson as a partner in its Investment team. He was previously a director at JLL and has more than 10 years’ experience.

P3, the pan European specialist logistics property investor-developer has promoted Peter Barrell to head of corporate finance and M&A in Prague.
LSL Property Services has appointed Helen Buck as executive director for estate agency. She replaces Adrian Gill.
Dan Langan has joined Thrings solicitors’ commercial property team as an associate solicitor. He is experienced in investment and asset transactions, auction sales and purchases and ground rent acquisitions and disposals.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Bristol office has appointed Caroline Cubbin as a senior surveyor and Melissa Woolston as an estates technician in its retail asset services team. In Birmingham, Tim Harrison has joined from Telereal Trillium as a partner in the rating team.
Barings Real Estate Advisers has appointed Lotta Lehtinen as associate director for asset management. She will support the asset management projects in Finland and the wider Nordics region.

The Liverpool office of Colliers International has appointed senior building surveyor Paul Harris from its Manchester office. Craig Rigby has joined as a graduate surveyor through the firm’s national graduate programme.
Carter Jonas has appointed Steven Drennan as a partner in its infrastructure team. He joins from Bruton Knowles and has more than 16 years’ experience advising on large utilities schemes.
Orbit has appointed Mark Hoyland as interim chief executive. He joins from Balfour Beatty where he held the role of managing director.

David Eden has joined Gerald Eve’s valuation team as a partner. He joins from Strutt & Parker with more than 11 years’ valuation-specific experience across the commercial sector.
