This week’s appointments and promotions
CBRE’s head of London leasing, Emma Crawford, has been appointed to the company’s UK management board. She joined the firm in 2004.
Duncan Hamilton has been promoted to principal at Avison Young. He joined Avison Young in 2012 and specialises in corporate real estate strategic consulting, transaction management, and portfolio management.
LSL Property Services has appointed Jo Green as director of PRS client services. She will spearhead the firm’s private rented sector enterprise and will be responsible for mobilising its service offering and future growth strategy.
Indigo Planning has appointed John Brooks as a director and head of the consultancy’s Leeds office. Brooks previously worked for Turley and has more than 20 years’ planning and development experience across London, Leeds and the rest of the UK.
Knight Frank has recruited Bela Chauhan as an associate in its healthcare team. She joins from GVA where she worked on transactional deals and valuations for the healthcare team.
DM Hall has appointed head of agency Ross Wilson to its east coast-based operation. He will oversee the firm’s activities in Edinburgh, the Borders, the Lothians, Central, Tayside and Fife.
Construction and project management consultancy Turner & Townsend has appointed directors Mark Coady and Brian Thompson to grow its real estate and infrastructure businesses in Ireland.
Penn Commercial has appointed Sita Thompson as property and marketing administrator and Robin Cousins as a trainee negotiator in Ipswich.
Freddie Gershinson has joined Glentree International as senior negotiator. He previously worked at Foxtons.
Trilogy has recruited Max Natalini as chief operating officer and Mike Pashley as chief financial officer. Natalini joins from Pillar Ventures and Pashley was previously with Area Property Partners.
The Investment Property Forum has named its new board members as Richard Round of Lloyds Bank and Jonathan Brice of CBRE.
Savills has appointed Philipe Fischer as a director in its German investment team. He joins from BNP Paribas Real Estate where he was director of national investment.
Scottish agency Eric Young & Co has appointed Anna Hansen as a surveyor in its retail agency team. She joins from CBRE.
James Smith has joined Thor Equities as executive director in asset management. He joins from Atrium European Real Estate and will lead the European asset management team from the London office.
LaSalle Investment Management has appointed Chris Zeuner as head of acquisitions central Europe, northern and southern Europe. He will be based in Munich.
Hindwoods has promoted Katie Hoggarth to associate director in commercial agency and development for London and the South East. Ben Wigglesworth has been promoted to director in building surveying services.
The Chartered Institute of Building has appointed Terry Watts as its first managing director. He will report to chief executive Chris Blythe.
Steve Sulston has joined Rapleys as head of strategic land. He joins from Avant Homes and will advise on strategic site identification and acquisition as well as the project management of sites.
The London office of CBRE has appointed Aleksandra Njagulj from Bouygues UK as an associate director in its sustainability consultancy. In Southampton, Derek Johnson has been appointed as a senior surveyor in the building consultancy team and Tom Lawrence joins as a specialist rating surveyor in the landlord and tenant team.
Spitfire Bespoke Homes has appointed Ross Evans as special projects director. Evans will assist the firm’s expansion across Birmingham and the West Midlands, with his role focusing mainly on private rented sector developments.
The Bristol office of Lambert Smith Hampton has appointed Roseanne Falconer to its valuation division. She joins as a surveyor and will focus on development appraisals and investment property for secured lending purposes in Bristol and the wider region. Ryan Dean has joined the firm’s office advisory team. Formerly of CBRE and Knight Frank, he will be based in the West End head office.
Olivier Daguzan has been appointed as chief operating officer for AccorHotels’ HotelInvest division in the UK. In his new role he will continue to head the Benelux division and will be responsible for building HotelInvest’s portfolio of assets in the UK and Benelux.
Leisure property specialist Fleurets has named Kevin Conibear as head of retail leisure and restaurants in the Bristol office.
Jon Hubbard will join Cushman & Wakefield in the summer to head its EMEA hotels and hospitality business. He joins from JLL where he was head of investor services EMEA for its hotels and hospitality group.
Dan Jestico has joined Iceni Projects as director of its sustainable development team. He joins from Hilson Moran where he was head of research and development.
Wainhomes, the house-building division of Wain Group, has appointed Steve Toghill as chief executive, Peter Barlow as managing director. Roger Treweek takes up the role of managing director in July.
Magali Thomson has been made a director at Marks Barfield Architects.
