Farebrother has appointed Anton McGarvey (pictured right) as an associate in its investment team. He was previously senior surveyor at BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he specialised in the City market.
Dacre, Son & Hartley’s agricultural division has appointed Andrew Consett (pictured second from right) as assistant land agent.
Leigh Shapiro (pictured second from left )has joined Irwin Mitchell as partner in the leasehold enfranchisement and residential property team. Shapiro joins from Trowers & Hamlins.
Paul Montgomery (pictured left) has joined Cushman & Wakefield from Deloitte Real Estate to lead its London consultancy team. He has more than 25 years’ experience with a direct focus on occupier capital projects.
Steven Handforth has joined Bidwells’ heritage team as a senior partner.
Matt Burke has joined NEAT Developments as a development manager. He previously worked for Deloitte Real Estate in the central London development team.
Cambridge University Health Partners has appointed Araminta Ledger as director of campus development to strengthen the Cambridge biomedical campus expansion.
Axèle Bastien has been appointed global head of legal for AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets.
Paul Jenkins has joined the asset management team at Boultbee Brooks Real Estate. He previously worked for Deloitte Real Estate and latterly he has been teaching real estate at Oxford Brookes University.
The Cambridge office of Savills has appointed Carl Williams as head of property management, James Kelway as head of building and project consultancy and Garth Hanlon as head of planning.
Salamanca Group has appointed Simon Heilpern as head of real estate. He was previously a senior equity partner at Levy Real Estate.
Mark Hannam has joined Brown & Lee as an associate partner in the Milton Keynes office. He joins from Cushman & Wakefield.
Levy Real Estate has promoted James Elliott and Thomas Birch to associates in its London property consultancy. Elliott is part of the office agency and development team and Birch works in the firm’s building consultancy team.
Construction consultancy CAST has appointed Stephen Hole as a director. He will oversee the delivery of key projects and the development of its build-to-rent and private sale proposition.
LGIM Real Assets has appointed Lorna Brown as head of real estate debt EMEA. Stuart Hitchcock joins as senior portfolio manager and Matthew Taylor as senior investment manager in corporate private debt.
Legal & General has hired Sebastian Balcombe as senior land and planning manager. He will be responsible for investment into new housing-led projects and acquisition and planning work across L&G’s land portfolio.
DM Hall has appointed the following partners: Richard Clowes, Galashiels; Graham Forbes, Inverness; and Michael McDonald, Elgin, in the residential property market. Ross Wilson, head of agency in the East of Scotland and Donald Yellowley, based in Bridge of Allan, have also been made partners.
The Property Litigation Association has appointed Richard Cressall as chair of its northern region.
Estate agent Leaders has appointed Debra McHale as its area sales manager for the North West.
Property and construction consultancy Gleeds has appointed Michael Phillips and Lee Summersgill as directors to its public sector team in Yorkshire. The pair will assist Gleeds in its role on the Scape’s built environment consultancy services framework as part of Perfect Circle, a consortium comprising Pick Everard, Gleeds and AECOM.
Darling Associates has appointed Rupert Eastell to the board as a non-executive director, Stuart Carr, Alfonso Gonzalez Ruiz and Carolina Rodriguez join as project directors and Mimie Wallace has been appointed as HR manager.
CBRE in Bristol has promoted Tom Morris to managing director. He will take over the role from Garry Hicks, who is retiring at the end of 2018.
Lambert Smith Hampton has recruited Tim Appleton as head of its retail and out-of-town team in Scotland. Appleton has 30 years’ experience in the sector and previously worked for Colliers, CBRE and Appleton Craig.
GVA in Newcastle has appointed Shaun Cuggy as a senior planner in the planning, development and regeneration team. Anna Greenwood joins as a graduate surveyor in the property management consultancy.
Savills has recruited Philippe Morisseau as an associate director in its Paris- based office agency team.
CBRE Leeds has appointed Oliver Freer as a director and Megan Bracha as a senior planner working with the UK development team.
Perkins+Will has promoted Richard Jordan as head of corporate interiors in its London studio.
Woods Bagot design practice has appointed Chris Crombie as transport leader for Europe and Debby Ray joins as associate principal in is London studio.
Delin Capital Asset Management has appointed Steve Mitchell as UK commercial director. He previously worked for Colliers International.
