Aitchison Raffety has appointed Robert Hughes (pictured left) as associate director within its London valuation team. He was previously an associate with Copping Joyce, and has also worked at DTZ.

Nathan Tate (pictured second from left) has joined Buro Four as project manager. He has previously worked on high-end hotels and residential projects.

Property lender Octopus Property, part of the Octopus Group, has appointed Carl Graham (pictured second from right) as business development manager in the North of England. Graham will be responsible for driving loan book growth in the Northern region.

CBRE Leeds has boosted its asset services team with the appointment of Hannah Towers (pictured right) as graduate surveyor.  Towers will work on national fund mandates along with regional investor projects to support the team’s client base.

Lee Baron has appointed David Izett as a non-executive chairman. Izett has previously been chief executive of Colliers International, head of key client development at Cushman & Wakefield and most recently chief operating officer of Cushman & Wakefield Russia.

Eliza Birkett has joined the Bristol office of Knight Frank as a graduate surveyor.

Pegasus Group has appointed Simon Tarr as director of its new property and acquisition service.

Midlands-based commercial and residential developer Grevayne Properties has appointed Lee Edwards to its board as development director. Edwards has more than 15 years’ experience in the residential agency and development industry.

Steven Fieldsend has joined property buying agency The Search Partnership as management director of its recently launched Land Management Partnership. Fieldsend joins from Strutt & Parker, where he was a partner.

Yvonne Ambo has joined the transaction team at LGIM Real Assets. As senior transactions manager, she will source investment opportunities for long-income funds.

Robert Grimshaw has launched Grimshaw Consulting, which will focus on affordable housing and financial viability assessment services for developers, investors and land owners.

National planning and development consultancy Lichfields has made the following promotions: Martin Taylor, planning director, London; James Jaulim, associate director, London; Dominic Smith and Fiona Braithwaite, associate directors, Newcastle; Sian Davies, senior planner, Cardiff; Dominic Holding, senior planner, Newcastle; Zahra Waters, senior planner, Thames Valley; Zoe Simmonds, Joe Larner, Beth Evans and Victoria Barrett, senior planners, London; Francesco Mellino, senior research consultant, London; and Amy Davidson, senior heritage consultant, London.

Charles Ingram Evans has joined Knight Frank as head of UK building consultancy and project management. He joins from CBRE where he was head of building surveying in the West End of London office.  He has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, and has specialised in buying and selling individual assets, developments and property portfolios in the UK, Europe and Middle East.

Sean Langton has been named as the new director at Building Services Design’s Manchester office. Langton’s presence in the North West’s engineering and construction industry has spanned almost 35 years, during which time he has delivered hundreds of national and international projects.

Knight Frank has announced that partner Bruce Tolmie-Thomson will become the new regional chairman for the central division from 1 April 2018. He takes over from Atty Beor-Roberts, who will continue at Knight Frank in a consulting role but will be retiring from the partnership after 33 years.

Fisher German has appointed graduate surveyors Lewis Giles at its Worcester office and Luke Dodge at its Halesowen office. Both graduates will work on a range of developments including Ratio Park in Kidderminster and Asparagus Point in Evesham.

GVA has appointed Peter O’Brien as the new national head of valuation consultancy. Based at the the firm’s Gresham Street, London, office, he will take up the post in the summer from Tim Crossley-Smith. O’Brien joins from JLL where he was a lead director of the national valuation team and a shadow board member.

Justin Garnett has been appointed as managing director of Yorkshire property developer and investor the Ogden Group of Companies.  He succeeds his father Tim, who is retiring after 48 years, and who will remain a board member.

Sussex Surveyors has appointed Kevin Westgate as senior building surveyor at the Hove, West Sussex, office and Derry Green joins the new Eastbourne, East Sussex office.

PLATFORM_, a developer and operator in the build-to-rent sector, has made a series of senior appointments. Jonathan Rae joins the executive team as finance director. Rae was previously at British Land, where he held senior finance positions including head of finance for the retail division and head of investor relations. In the development team, Johan Liebenberg joins as senior project manager from Quintain, where he was technical and project manager. Chris Ray has joined as project manager. Ray previously worked at Gulf Related and Jones Lang LaSalle Dubai on real estate projects across the UK and the Middle East, focusing on residential and leisure.
