National property and investment firm LCP has appointed Simon Eatough (pictured right) from CBRE. Eatough joins as an asset manager and will manage a portfolio, focusing on retail and industrial sectors in the South Yorkshire area.

Cording Real Estate has appointed Naomi Vlakancic (pictured second from right) as head of investor relations. In the newly created role based in London, Vlakancic will develop, implement and manage the investor relations programme and operational analysis for the business.

Alder King has appointed Hugh Collins (pictured second from left) to its graduate programme in Bristol. Collins has joined the investment and energy teams as a junior surveyor, initially focusing on land acquisition for energy sector clients while also working towards his APC.

Savills’ retail and leisure team has appointed Masterchef finalist and property surveyor Billy Wright (pictured left) as a restaurant specialist. He will be based at its head office in London. Wright will work with the Central London retail team and national retail and leisure division, using his trend-led knowledge of food and the restaurant sector to advise both occupiers and landlords.

Property and Commercial Chancery Silk, Zia Bhaloo QC has joined Landmark Chambers.  A former chair of the property bar association, Bhaloo has particular interest in property related insolvency work and valuation issues, and often acts in cases with significant planning issues.

Design, property and construction consultancy, Pellings has appointed Mark Gannon as partner and head of finance.

Bruton Knowles has promoted Anastasia Hernandez Beaumont to its commercial team.

Wes Erlam, development director from Muse Developments, has joined the board of sister company Morgan Sindall Investments.

Craig Lygate has been appointed to head up the new Scottish arm of Cushman & Wakefield’s healthcare advisory team. As partner, Lygate will initially focus on the care home, children’s day nursery, pharmacy and dental sectors.

IM Properties’ strategic land arm, IM Land, has recruited Kathryn Hemingway as land and planning manager from Cushman and Wakefield, and Tom Holdcroft as technical co-ordinator from Residential and Commercial Engineers

Allsop has promoted Rob Austen in the residential valuation team and Alex Butler in the commercial investment department to equity partners.

GVA has appointed regional senior director Chris Cheap to its management board to represent its regional offices, and guide alignment of regional with national activity. Carl Potter has been named as regional senior director in the Birmingham office. Charles Toogood has also been appointed as national head of offices and will retain his existing position as head of the Midlands offices team.

Arup has recruited directors David Ellis and Mike Savage in its transport consultancy business in London.  They join from WSP where they were directors of the development business with a focus on integrated transport and development opportunities.

East Midlands, commercial property specialists Rigby & Co has appointed Mark Gratton as a development surveyor.

South East Living Group has appointed Sam Mensah to its land and development team. Mensah comes from a residential development agency background and will focus on the acquisition of development sites across South East London and South East England.

International law firm Ashurst has appointed partner Alison Hardy to its real estate dispute resolution team in London. Hardy joins from Squire Patton Boggs.

Henry Boot Developments has boosted its northern team, appointing Andrew Priestley and Simon Ross as development surveyors and Thomas Matthews as a senior project manager.

The Birmingham office of Sanderson Weatherall has appointed James Carver as an associate partner in its agency team, and Rob George as a surveyor within the valuation team.

Daren Nathan has joined London Square as a director from construction and development company Durkan. Graham Ellis has joined the board as estimating director from Mount Anvil.

Department store Fenwick has appointed Jeremy Collins as property director. He will also become a member of the executive board led by chief executive Robbie Feather.

Infrastructure and development consultancy Copper has appointed Ben Heatley as director from FleishmanHillard Fishburn.

Monmouth Dean has promoted Rebecca Saxon to associate partner, and recruited Georgina Mason as agency surveyor.

Ernest Opoku has joined serviced apartment specialists Supercity Aparthotels in the new role of group head of marketing at its Clerkenwell office, EC1.

APAM has appointed Lucy Tucker as an analyst in its investor reporting team.

DM Hall Chartered Surveyors has moved its Galashiels base to bigger offices at 38 Island Street. The new office will be headed up by partner Richard Clowes.

Law firm Birketts has appointed Steven Bell as a senior associate in it its planning and environment team.
