Colliers International has appointed Kate Morgan (pictured right) as UK head of operations. Morgan joined Colliers in June 2014 to lead the business development unit for the rating team, before leading the CRM implementation across EMEA.
Ed Skeates (pictured second from right) has accepted the position of development director at Be First, Barking and Dagenham’s pioneering regeneration company.
Nick Greene (pictured second from left) has joined Milton Park as the new head of property and estate management. Greene will lead the CBRE property and facilities management group responsible for the day-to-day running of the park.
Knight Frank has appointed Chris Kelly (pictured left) as partner in its debt advisory team. He joins from Santander UK.
Auction House South Wales has appointed David Jones as a director. Jones is experienced in general practice surveying and transactional deals in commercial property.
PGIM Real Estate has promoted Greg Kane to head of European investment research based in London. Kane is responsible for leading the European research team in asset management, acquisitions and marketing of its regional and global businesses.
Watson Property Management has promoted business development manager Frances Mulhall to associate director.
Steve Coleby has taken up the role of managing director of partnership homes at developer Lovell. He previously worked for Laing O’Rourke.
London residential developer Strawberry Star has appointed Matthew Leitch as sales director; Alex Lazarov as lettings director; Mike Vos as group legal counsel; Robert Hepworth as director commercial investment; and Kekul Shah as director fund management.
Savills’ Scottish development team has recruited George Hepburn-Scott as a director to advise on residential investment and PRS transactions and Richard Thompson joins as a director with a focus on development opportunities.
GVA has appointed Ian Elliott as senior director and Jon Critchley as director to its retail, hotels and leisure team. Elliott and Critchley both join from Knight Frank.
Aviva Investors has appointed Daniel McHugh as head of UK real estate and Melanie Collett as head of real estate asset management.
Herbert Smith Freehills has promoted London-based William Turnbull to partner in its real estate practice, commencing 1 May.
Midlands law firm Lodders has recruited construction law specialist Paul Wilson as a partner. Based at the Stratford upon Avon office he will work across its Midlands and South West network.
Carter Towler has promoted Chris Lewis to associate director and Daniel Duce to associate.
GVA in Scotland has appointed Mark Currie as a director in the corporate solutions team. Michael Facenna has been appointed as associate in Glasgow. In Edinburgh, Georgina Dent joins as an assistant graduate surveyor and Matthew Moggach will join as a senior surveyor in May. Gavin Highgate and Kerry Maguire have been promoted to associates in the telecoms and valuation teams respectively.
Iain Mercer has joined Allied Surveyors as its director of commercial agency in Edinburgh. Mercer joins from IME Property and has been tasked with setting up the firm’s first commercial agency on the east coast.
John Magee has been appointed centre manager of Princes Quay located in Hull City Centre. It is the UK’s first in-town outlet mall in a traditional shopping centre.
Chris Hay has joined PMP as senior surveyor in the project management team from JLL.
Kempton Carr Croft has named Rob Kerrigan as managing director and Jane Holmes as director and company secretary. They replace Malcolm Kempton and Michael Carr, who stepped down after 32 years.
Commercial property development company Wykeland Group has appointed Jonathan Stubbs as development director. Stubbs joined the firm two years ago and played a key role in the £17m Treadmills redevelopment of the former Northallerton Prison site in North Yorkshire.
Henry Adams has promoted Gareth Overton to equity partner of estate agency and chartered surveyors.
The Bristol office of Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Tim West to its valuation team as a surveyor. Rory Sergeant has joined the project and development services team as a senior building surveyor.
Eric Wright Group has strengthened its property businesses, appointing Karen Hirst as managing director of Maple Grove Developments. Colin Hetherington has been appointed as managing director of Applethwaite and Christine Winstanley has been made managing director of Eric Wright Health & Care.
Hines has appointed Christina Beggan to the retail team as associate asset manager. Adam Hines joins the student housing team as an associate working within acquisitions.
Cushman & Wakefield has recruited Emma Swinnerton as international partner and EMEA head of flexible leasing solutions. She previously worked for Regus and British Airways.
