Workplace specialist TSK has welcomed Simon Guest (pictured right) from Claremont to its senior management team. He joins as a construction director and will be based in the Manchester office.

AECOM has appointed Frank Hayes (pictured second from right) as associate director of planning in its Manchester office. He previously worked for EDAW and Wardell Armstrong. Hayes has expertise in strategic planning advice and promoting large-scale residential developments, regeneration and mixed-use schemes.

GVA has promoted Derick Jackson (pictured second from left) from head of property management in Newcastle to senior director.

Kent-based Harrisons Chartered Surveyors has appointed Ben Haugh (pictured left) as an associate director to its Maidstone office valuation department. Haugh has previously worked for Porters, Savills and CBRE.

Cushman & Wakefield has promoted John Keyes to chair of public sector and Caroline Baker to head of its Manchester office.

Daniel Connal Partnership has employed Andrew Harding from Base Building Consultancy in its London office and Andrew Brewer from Atkins in its Colchester office. Both the building surveyors are studying for their APC.

Dalcour Maclaren has appointed John Wood as a director, specialising in business rates, lease advisory and telecoms services. He previously worked at Cluttons.

Brasier Freeth has promoted Tim Howlings and Kim Wilson to senior surveyors. Howlings joined the firm in 2012 as a graduate and Wilson joined in 2017 from CBRE.

Darren Hill has joined Cheffins as property manager in the commercial property management team. He will strengthen the firm’s position within the commercial property and asset management sector across the Cambridgeshire region.

Clegg Construction has appointed Rachel Johns to head up its new Cambridge office and to develop a regional business covering the East of England.

Real estate investment company Aprirose has appointed Daren Knipe as managing director to oversee its Milton Pubs & Tavern portfolio. Knipe will work with LT Management Services, which Aprirose appointed last year to manage the assets.

Hindwoods chartered surveyors has promoted Okan Ozyamaci in building surveying and Jennifer Hawkins and Tosin Odunukan in property management to associate directors. Michael Brown joins as senior surveyor in the commercial agency team from Alduwaliya Asset Management.

Hanover Green Retail has promoted Laura Thursfield and Emma Flather in the retail and leisure team to partners.  Alice Thornton has been appointed associate in the West End offices department. In the South East agency team, Harry Pruden has been appointed a senior surveyor.

Bradley Hall has appointed Mark Ketley as director to head its planning and design arm in its Newcastle office. Ketley joins from Northumberland County Council.

Kingsbridge Estates has appointed Ian Playford as chairman. He is currently investment director and non-executive director of the board.

Michael Benjamin has been appointed as chief marketing officer at Search Office Space. He previously worked for Rosetta Stone, EasyRoomate and Upad.

Colliers International has appointed Nigel Ball and Mark Elbourne from BNP Paribas as directors in its licensed and leisure team. Ball is a senior real estate professional with 30 years’ experience in the lease advisory field. Elbourne is a lease negotiator and expert witness and has 15 years’ experience in the licensed and leisure sector.

Iceni Projects has appointed Tom Brooks as senior consultant. He joins from design firm Alan Baxter.

Buro Four has made the following director appointments: Ian Higgs, managing director of London; Stuart Flaxton, London operations director and head of corporate occupier; David Boles, managing director of the regions; and Justin Hopkins, director of business development and marketing. Nick Black has been promoted to hotel sector lead; Christina Stoltz, project director; and Sally Pople, head of human resources.

Tarun Patel has joined Trident Building Consultancy as an assistant building surveyor in its Birmingham office.  Patel joins from AA Projects, where he was a graduate building surveyor.

GVA has appointed Leonie Oliva as a senior director in its national planning team. Oliva joins from Deloitte Real Estate and has more than 25 years’ experience advising on planning projects and applications for both public and private sector clients, within higher education, cultural sectors and regeneration schemes.

CBRE’s Leeds office has promoted Michael Greenbank to director of asset services and Paul England to senior surveyor within the building consultancy team. In the operations team, Maxine Grayshon has been promoted to associate director and Caroline Bell to surveyor grade.

Graham Garbis has been appointed as a non-executive director to the joint investment board of the Parliamentary Estate. Garbis has 37 years’ experiencce in operational property asset management.

Kelly Smith and Matt Smith have joined Allsop’s letting and management team.
