Justin James (pictured right) has joined the London offices team of Gerald Eve as a partner. James has more than 25 years’ experience of London investment and joins from GVA, where he was head of West End investment. Previous clients include Derwent London, Aviva Investors and central government.
Turley has appointed Andy Ricketts (pictured second from right) to head up its national environmental impact assessment service. He joins from WSP, where he was technical director and national lead for EIA. Ricketts is a member of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment steering group and has co-authored and contributed to national EIA guidance.
Cording Real Estate Group has appointed Philip Egan (pictured second from left) as an asset manager in the London office. He previously worked at M7 Real Estate. William Twigden has joined as an asset manager from Cushman & Wakefield.
Liverpool City Council has appointed Samantha Campbell (pictured left) as its first female head of planning. In her role she will oversee the development of emerging growth zones in the city and the implementation of the local plan to build 35,000 new homes across the city over the next 15 years.
Regeneration specialist Acorn Property Group has appointed Lizzie Olds as sales manager to its Hampshire team.
Andrew Bolt has founded TAND Advisory Corporation following 18 years as head of real estate and asset management at Robert McAlpine Enterprises. Bolt will continue to manage McAlpine assets at Cardiff Gate Business Park and Jersey Waterfront Hotel.
Oxfordshire-based planning consultancy Edgars has promoted Lillian Duffield to senior planner. She joined the firm in 2017 and specialises in development management, local plans, heritage proposals and environmental impact assessments.
hgh Consulting has promoted Alfie Yeatman to principal planner and Ben Stonebridge and Bridget Miller to planners. Rudra Rhodes has been appointed as a new graduate planner.
Francesco Benvenuti has been appointed chairman of BNP Paribas Real Estate Italy. He will stand as country coordinator and a member of BNP Paribas Real Estate’s international executive committee.
UK architecture firm PRP has promoted Manisha Patel to senior partner. Scott Sanderson, Richard Harvey and Alistair Weir have been promoted to the board as partners. Rick Burgess has stepped down as partner and board member but will continue his role as technical and BIM director.
Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work has appointed Matt Coulson as chief executive officer. Coulson will be responsible for leading and developing the business strategy for the office development in Chiswick, W4.
Arlington Advisors has appointed Robert Moyle as operations director to manage its expanding purpose-built student accommodation portfolio and network of third-party operators. Moyle previously served as technical head of global operations and UK operations director for Campus Living Villages.
Knight Frank’s Birmingham office has appointed Caroline Saxon as senior surveyor. She joins the valuation and lease advisory division and will advise commercial clients on portfolio valuations and market appraisals. Tim Innes joined as a senior associate in the valuation team from GVA to advise and assist in the growth of the loan security and banking book.
Abintra has appointed business development expert David Maddison as senior sales consultant EME. Maddison will be responsible for European and Middle East sales, working with major corporations worldwide to optimise use of their office space.
Clarkson Wright & Jakes has promoted Emily Carey to partner and head of the commercial property department. Joanne McDonald, Laura Claridge and Laura Thompson have been promoted to associates.
Capital & Regional has hired James Rayner as leasing executive responsible for lettings to national and regional customers across key assets. Callum Board has joined as commercial manager and will be tasked with generating commercial opportunities across the firm’s portfolio. Mike McGuinness has been appointed as a development adviser on a part-time basis, supporting head of asset development Joe Swindells. Former Westfield marketing executive Brooke Rowlings joins as special projects manager.
Leisure advisers Davis Coffer Lyons has promoted Lottie Newman to associate director in its development and London estate leasing team, led by Tracey Mills.
Housebuilder Kier Living has appointed Jonathan Miller to spearhead its new southern region. Based at offices in Buckinghamshire, he will lead the ongoing expansion into the western Home Counties and Thames Valley.
Richard Bailey has been appointed as a director at Stepnell. He previously worked for UK Construction and BAM Construct UK.

In the building consultancy division, Brendan Magee, Chris Wilkins, Andrew Knowles and Alan Down have been promoted to senior associates. Craig Watson, Harry Etherington and Rosie Veitch-Clarke have been made associates. Hannah Caley, Amanda Belgium and Jo Whitlock have been made accounts associates.
