Bewley Homes has appointed Peter Carpinelli (pictured right) as development director. Carpinelli has previously been a managing director for Linden, Redrow and David Wilson Homes.
Matt Dimond (pictured second from right) has joined Mayfair Capital as managing director of international business development. He joins from InfraRed Capital Partners in London and has also worked in Europe and Asia at Macquarie Capital, GE and UBS Warburg. Dimond is experienced in fundraising, transaction advisory work and principal investment across real assets.
Gleeds has recruited Richard Young (pictured second from left) as director of its management services team. Young joins the firm after more than 20 years with Buro Four, where he was responsible for the commercial office division and the strategic direction for the company.
St Modwen has appointed David Binks (pictured left) as head of leasing. He joins from Cushman & Wakefield. In his new role he will seek to develop St Modwen’s strategic relationships with the occupier market, identifying national opportunities for the development of its industrial and logistics portfolio and strategy.
GVA has promoted graduate Hannah Gray to planner at its Newcastle office. Gray recently passed her APC and is now a chartered member of the RTPI. She has experience in planning appraisals and making representations on development plans and planning policy across both England and Scotland.
The ratings teams at Colliers International has appointed Jim Gallagher as a director in the Manchester office and Andrew Stacey as a director in Leeds. Richard Proctor joins the London office as an associate director.
SHW LLP has made the following promotions: Adrian Dack and Paul Farrell, property management, and Emma Hards, agency, have been named partners. Alex Gould and Wayne Mardell, BCD, have been made directors. Fiona Williams and Mariela Taira have become senior property managers. Sam Baly and Thomas Tarn have been named agency surveyors. Russell Smith has been promoted to senior surveyor and Ruthie Taylor is now property administration manager.
Inland Homes has appointed managing director Gary Skinner to the board of directors.
Law firm Lester Aldridge has appointed partners Claire Egerton, Erika Willmott and Stephanie Adams to its real estate group.
Brett Williams, former head of residential property management at CPBigwood, has opened Principle Estate Management. The business, based in Birmingham, will offer a national property management service to residential apartment buildings and blocks of flats.
Pinnacle Group has appointed Claire Kober, previously leader of London Borough of Haringey, as the new director of housing, to lead its delivery of high-quality and innovative housing management services and to strengthen its senior management team.
Lovell has appointed Steve Breslin as the firm’s finance director.
The Scottish division of Cushman & Wakefield has named Alistair Thow as partner in the global occupier services-facilities management team and Calum Cowe as partner in the investment team. Associate promotions include Stuart Low, investment; Laura Mitchell, PDS project management Scotland and Douglas Bailey, PDS building consultancy.
Midlands-based residential developer Mulberry Homes has appointed Ian Sadler as managing director of its homes division. Sadler previously worked for Bryant Homes and Taylor Wimpey.
Kalmars has appointed Laura Reid to its commercial property agency team.
JLL in Manchester has hired Joe Evers as an assistant manager in the cost management business. Yvette Black and Rob Bursnoll have joined as graduates in the planning and development team and the building consultancy team respectively. Tom Robinson has been promoted to senior planner in the planning and development team, Andy Allen has been appointed senior surveyor in the building consultancy team and Natalie Harrison has been named senior surveyor in the residential advisory team. Promotions in the property and asset management team include: Henrietta Daniels to senior surveyor, Christine Arnold to surveyor and Kirstin McIntosh to assistant surveyor.
Acorn Property Group has appointed Martin Walton as a senior estimator in the group’s Devon & Cornwall regional office, Acorn Blue. Walton has more than 40 years’ industry experience, having previously held senior roles in estimating and business development with Interserve and Midas Construction.
Design and planning consultancy Terence O’Rourke has promoted Martin Miller to its board of directors. He will be responsible for furthering the firm’s work in the retirement and care sectors and ensuring high-quality guidance to clients relating to the application and implementation of the CIL regulations.
Rider Levett Bucknall has recruited Rachel Dick and Karl Redmond as associate facilities management consultants in London and Manchester respectively.
Emily Peterson has joined the conveyancing team at Swindon-based firm Francis George Solicitor Advocate.
