Colliers International has appointed Martin Miklosko (pictured left) as a director and head of the London-based EMEA valuation team, which specialises in pan-European projects. Miklosko joins from JLL, where he was director in the alternatives team.
Law firm Irwin Mitchell has recruited Tim Rayner (pictured second from left) as a new real estate litigation partner based in its Birmingham office. Rayner joins from Browne Jacobson, where he jointly headed the property disputes team.
Charles Twist (pictured second from right) has joined Farebrother and Union Street Partners as an associate partner in the lease advisory team. Previously with Gerald Eve and Deloitte, he specialises in advising on lease disputes between landlords and tenants and has worked with clients including Canada Life, Aviva Investors and Goldman Sachs.
CBRE has appointed Josh Beer (pictured right) as head of CBRE 360 for EMEA from the Instant Group. Beer will lead the deployment of CBRE 360, a new global capability to deliver transformative environments in the workplace by integrating property services and amenities with advanced digital technologies.
Chris Phillips has joined the board at Citicourt & Co as a non-executive director based in London. Phillips has served as chairman of People for Places since 2010.
Eversheds Sutherland has appointed partner Paul Beausang as head of real estate tax from Morgan Lewis & Bockius.
Matthews & Goodman has appointed Pippa Burchnall as residential block manager in Liverpool to oversee its portfolio for the city and the North West.
Hampshire and Berkshire-based Pro Vision has hired Hatem Nabih as an associate director and head of urban design. Nabih joins from Winchester City Council and specialises in the preparation of masterplans for residential, leisure, commercial and multi-use development, planning statements and urban assessments.
Manchester-based How Planning has promoted Rhian Smith to principal planner, Rachel Jones to senior planner and Jamie Lynch to senior environmental planner. Joseph Smith has been recruited as a graduate planner.
Maple Grove, the development arm of Eric Wright Group, has appointed Nik Puttnam from Liverpool City Council as senior development manager. Richard Willacy has joined as development project manager from Naismiths.
Trident Building Consultancy has promoted Michael Jack to director in Leeds; Dean Catlow to associate director in London City; Will Sharpey to associate director in London West End; Kim Benam to associate director in London City; Josh Pearce to principal surveyor in London City; Sam Parsons to principal surveyor in London City; Phoebe Bousfield to marketing assistant in Leeds; and Michelle Collins to senior secretary in Birmingham. Gordon Hamilton has joined as associate director in the Edinburgh office.
Harbottle & Lewis has promoted partners Lee Greaves in property, Alex Hardy in publishing and Matt Leverton in commercial litigation. Georgina Long has been promoted to senior associate in commercial litigation.
Pauline Bogey and Alice Mougin have joined the London economics advisory team at design and advisory firm Dar.
Wakefield Council has named Tom Stannard as its new corporate director to head up its regeneration and economic growth services. Stannard is currently the director of economy and skills at Oldham Council in Greater Manchester. He will take up his new role on 5 September, replacing Andrew Wallhead.
Law firm Roythornes solicitors has appointed Michelle Moore as property specialist to its litigation department.
James McArthur has been promoted to shareholding director at Nottingham-based NG Chartered Surveyors. McArthur joined NG in May 2016 from Humberts, where he was associate director and head of management.
Proptech company Matterport has appointed Chris Bell, former Apple iTunes executive, as chief marketing officer.
Seaforth Land has appointed Edward Sneddon as head of development. He joins from Derwent.
Kevin Williamson joins Victoria Hall Management as investment director from Unite Students. He previously worked for SEGRO.
UK and international architecture firm HLM has made the following changes to the board: Richard O’Neil has taken over the position of chairman from Chris Liddle, who has been made chairman of Covalent, and Karen Mosley has been made managing director. Jamie Wilson, Mick Scherdel, Jeremy Pickard, Lorraine Robertson and Simon Bell have joined the board as new directors.
Principle Estate Management has appointed estate management expert Joe Jobson as director.
Longevity Partners has promoted Anthony Maguire and Alain Kilajian to sustainability & energy consultant and senior energy consultant respectively. Divya Hariramani and Giselle Crowder have been hired as innovation and energy analysts.
LRG has appointed Daniel Hodgkiss as land director for the Wales & West region, based in the Cardiff office. He joins from Persimmon Homes and will be responsible for land acquisitions and disposals, managing estates and helping private landowners, institutions and corporations achieve residential planning permission and maximise land value.
