Rossella van der Weyden (pictured right) has joined the valuation and advisory services team at Colliers International as an associate director. She joins from Cushman & Wakefield where she specialised in central London real estate and the West End, working on projects including The Crown Estate, Grosvenor Estates, City of London Corporation and Shaftesbury.
CBRE Manchester has appointed Mark Garner (pictured second from right) as senior surveyor in its office agency team. Garner joins from Bruntwood and will work within the city centre and wider North West region, undertaking both acquisition and disposal projects with a focus on landlord disposals.
Allsop has appointed Richard Townsend (pictured second from left) as partner. Townsend will join in September and lead the expansion of the West End leasing team. He was previously director of Colliers International and partner at H2SO.
Andy Hall (pictured left) has joined Savills out of town retail team as a director in its Manchester office. Hall’s retail career spans 24 years and most recently includes a decade as a partner in the retail team at Cushman & Wakefield. At Savills he will undertake a national remit, advising both landlords and occupier clients.
JLL has appointed Darren Jeal as project manager to its building consultancy’s project management team in Birmingham. He joins from the firms London office where he has worked on the Crown Estate and Regent Street portfolio.
Bulleys commercial property consultancy has promoted James Bird to senior associate and Max Shelley and Richard Brookes to associates.
Carter Jonas’s national rural team has appointed Andrew Chandler and Stephen Hall as partners and Adrian Cawood as a consultant.
Samantha Wells has joined Gerald Eve as a senior associate following a 20-year career in London local government, most recently at the Greater London Authority. In her senior officer role at City Hall she was responsible for strategic planning advice surrounding a number of significant regeneration projects along the South Bank.
GVA’s Cardiff office has promoted Mark Ebo to director in the retail hotels and leisure team. Carys Chandler has been promoted to senior surveyor. Daniel Davies, a surveyor in the commercial agency team, has completed his professional APC qualification; and Jodie Al-Khafaji has joined the agency team as a graduate surveyor.
CBRE Hotels has appointed Colin Low as head of hotel investment properties for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Low joins from Frasers Hospitality Trust, where he was head of investment and led acquisitions of hotels and serviced residences globally.
Iceni Projects has appointed Gill Eaton from St Albans City and District Council and Ros Graham from Savills as associates. Ashleigh Cook from Peter Brett Associates joins as senior planner in Iceni’s urban mixed use team.
Nicholas Ian Cooper has been appointed as a non-executive director of Scottish housebuilder Springfield Properties.
WYG has appointed Anne Clements as planning director in London. Clements joins from Countryside Properties and was previously planning director at Quintain where she worked on the Wembley Park regeneration from 2003 to 2016.
Cluttons has appointed Harry Rands as an associate partner and Nick Masters as a senior surveyor to its investment team. Both were previously with Capita.
Birmingham-based Stoford Developments has appointed Ben Gwilliam as project manager in the construction team.
Savills has appointed John Menzies as a director in its retail and leisure agency team, based in its Glasgow office. He joins from Cushman & Wakefield.
Law firm Browne Jacobson has appointed lawyers Zo Hoida, Brian Hession and Natalie Moustache to its Birmingham property team.
George Wall has joined regeneration property specialist Acorn Property Group in its London office as a funding assistant.
Eddisons has recruited Richard Steedman and Jonathan Reeder Scott as building surveyors to work alongside associate director Adam Finch.
Michael McGhin has joined Bradley Hall at its new Sunderland office. McGhin will oversee all commercial matters in and surrounding the city centre, representing landlord and tenant clients and handling the sales and lettings of a variety of properties and businesses.
Knight Frank has hired associates Aimee Nagle and Alexander Cormack to its European valuations and advisory team. Nagle’s role will focus on the management of pan-European banking instructions, and Cormack will co-ordinate the fund valuation process for its European portfolio clients.
Harris Lamb has promoted David Walton and Shirley Greenlees to directors, and Julie Sanders to associate. Abi Taylor has been promoted to senior surveyor.
Milton Keynes-based Storey Homes has appointed Ian Bennett as head of land and planning. Chris Pipe joins as finance director.
Michael McLintock has been appointed by the Grosvenor Estate as the new chairman of Grosvenor Group, effective from September. He succeeds Lesley Knox who is retiring as a trustee of the Grosvenor Estate.
