LifeCare Residences, the luxury retirement community operator, has appointed Cathe Gaskell (pictured left) as non-executive director – clinical governance. Gaskell has more than 30 years’ experience in the care sector, with almost 20 years spent working at board level. She specialises in all aspects of management within healthcare, having overseen and advised on clinical governance provision across a number of care home environments and in a range of health organisations, within both the NHS and independent sector.

M7 Real Estate, the pan-European real estate investment and asset manager, has appointed Philip Cridge (pictured second from left) as a director in its UK team. Cridge will contribute to the development of the business plan for M7’s UK portfolio and asset management strategy.

Knight Frank has appointed Michael Lewis (pictured second from right) as head of property management. Lewis joined the firm in 2016 and has more than 30 years’ experience in commercial property across all asset classes. Prior to joining Knight Frank he spent eight years at CBRE, and was previously at Dawney, Day Investment and Colliers.

Stephanie Walker (pictured right) has joined Cushman & Wakefield as a senior surveyor in the retail team. She joins from Tim Hortons UK, where she assisted in the acquisition of property and land as part of the Canadian coffee chain’s expansion plans, focusing on Scotland.

Levy Real Estate has appointed Rob Smith as head of its professional services team. Smith formerly co-led the London lease advisory team at Avison Young, and has extensive experience of advising landlord and occupier clients with a particular focus on the office and industrial sectors.

CBRE has appointed strategic business development and proptech consultant Nick Wright within its strategic consulting team in EMEA. Wright will report to head of strategic consulting, Amanda Clack, with responsibility for supporting CBRE’s strategic consultancy and wider advisory offer for clients in the private and public sector. He joins from KMPG.

Colliers International has recruited Oliver Gordon as a senior surveyor to its residential development division, focusing on London and the home counties. He joins from Glenny, where he worked in the residential development team, based in the Stratford office.

Student accommodation and higher education specialist, Sarah Jones has rejoined Cushman & Wakefield as partner following 18 months at Empiric Student Property as director of research and development. Based in the Leeds office, she will work with Andrew TC Smith, head of the public sector advisory team. Jones formerly worked in the education and innovation team at Cushman & Wakefield and established the student residential advisory skill line.

The real estate team at Law firm Furley Page has appointed commercial property specialist Rupert Cox. Associate Anna Joiner has moved to the firm’s Canterbury office to support the residential property law team.

Hargreaves Services has appointed David Anderson as group property director to drive the development of its property business, Hargreaves Land.

CBRE has appointed Neil Churchill as centre director for Festival Place, Basingstoke.

Stephen Wormald has joined XLB Property as a senior asset manager from CBRE, where he was an associate director in the asset services team in London.

Bates Wells Braithwaite has appointed Malcolm Headley as a partner in its real estate team. He joins from Gowling WLG.

Fisher German has appointed Nial Casselden as a planner at its regional office in Chester. He joins the firm from Cheshire West and Chester Council, where he led the development management team. Casselden will lead on planning in the Chester office, working on a range projects across the residential, commercial and agricultural sectors.

Tom Watson has been promoted to partner of Morgan Williams and will continue his role in the investment department.

Edinburgh-based property developer Qmile Group has appointed former Redrow and Avant Homes chief executive, Neil Fitzsimmons, as non-executive chairman.

Secured property platform, Lendy has appointed Terry Pritchard as head of origination. He joins from Channel Equity Finance, where he was managing director.

Stewart-Lockhart has joined Knight Frank’s Scottish residential development and specialist sector division. He joins from Allsop, where he worked on both residential and mixed-use developments across London and the surrounding regions.

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Paul Feely to head up its building engineering services skill line for the Northern region, based in the Manchester office. Feely joins from Laing O’Rourke, where he was responsible for the delivery and technical compliance for building services design packages associated with some of the largest retail, healthcare and laboratory projects within the UK.

PwC has appointed Natalie Breen to establish a dedicated Asia Pacific real estate desk in London, to assist with both inbound and outbound Asia Pacific clients. Sarah Isted has been named as financial services risk and regulation practice leader.

The CBRE UK Development team in Leeds has recruited Alison Mackay as a senior planner. She joins from Colliers International.
