Property auction house Pugh has appointed Edward Feather (pictured left) as associate director and auctioneer from SDL Auctions. Feather was also a director at the Cheshire and north Wales franchise of the Auction House business, based at estate agent Humphreys in Chester, before its acquisition by SDL in 2016.
JLL has appointed Jess Duffield (pictured second from left) as a graduate planner in the Nottingham planning and development team.
Malcolm Hollis has appointed Martin Kirk (pictured second from right) as partner at its London City office. Kirk will be responsible for the national provision of the firm’s development monitoring service, and was previously a senior commercial manager at Lend Lease for ten years.
GVA has promoted Sharon Reilly (pictured right) as head of the national property management accounts team. Reilly will manage a national team handling property accounting services for investors and occupiers.
Haslams has appointed Vince Courtney to its executive board as sales director from Romans.
Real estate lawyer Steven Silver has joined Squire Patton Boggs as a director. He joins from Weightmans where he was head of its real estate investor and development sector.
Dacres Commercial has appointed Martin Foster as head of valuation and lease advisory services. Based in Leeds, he will specialise in commercial property valuations in office, industrial, retail and leisure sectors.
Tom Gold has joined RO Real Estate as development surveyor from GVA. He will be based primarily in the group’s London office and will report to general manager David Kershaw.
The Savills’ retail team in Manchester has appointed directors Stephen Proudley and Jonathan Netley. They join from Lambert Smith Hampton, where they held senior roles in the retail and leisure team since the firm’s acquisition of Tushingham Moore in 2015.
Helical has appointed Joe Lister as an independent non-executive director and a member of the audit and risk, nominations and remuneration committees.
Harlex Property has hired Mark Nicholson, former Vita Group acquisitions director. Nicholson has 14 years’ property experience with a professional background in commercial and residential development, agency and investment.
Henley has appointed Andy Brandon as managing director and Andrew Kelsall as sales commercial director of Henley healthcare investments. Adrian D’Enrico has joined as fund manager for the Henley secure income fund.
TradeRisks, the parent company of Residential Secure Income’s Investment Manager, has appointed Richard Stubbs as chief financial officer.
CBRE’s Manchester building consultancy team has recruited Jason McEwen as senior director of the project management service line team. Paul Roberts has been appointed director and James Bostock as project manager and surveyor. Neil Rogers has been promoted to senior director and head of the building surveying team and Steve Williamson has been made senior director of the cost consultancy team. Gareth Robertson has been promoted to director and Alex O’Donnell to associate director in the cost consultancy team. In the Liverpool office, Phil Rowlandson has been appointed as building surveyor; Luke Ferguson as senior cost consultant; and George Riley as associate director.
Law firm Brady Solicitors has recruited property dispute resolution specialist, Catherine Gritt, as head of litigation. She joins from Fraser Brown solicitors.
Boyer has made five graduate planner appointments: Joseph Hickling and Eleanor Leighton-Young, Wokingham office; Alice Moore, London office; James Teasdale, Midlands office; and Emma Dyson, Cardiff office.
DM Hall has promoted associates Eric Andrew and Nick Hancock to directors in the Edinburgh office. Jonathan Hunter has been promoted to associate at Musselburgh.
Native Land has appointed Finn Carew to the acquisitions and business development team. He joins from the Pinnacle Group, where he focused on residential-led regeneration projects in London.
Andy Homer has joined M4 Property Consultants in Newport to head the property and asset management team. He previously worked for Torfaen Council and GVA as an associate within the property management team.
Aston Rose has hired Sam Hume-Kendall as a graduate in the investment team.
Offshore law firm Collas Crill has appointed partner Ian Montgomery as head of corporate, finance and funds in its British Virgin Islands office.
Holliers International has appointed Christian Kadel as new head of capital markets in Germany.
Invesco Real Estate has appointed Victoria Stanley as director of fund management for residential investment to support the expansion of the UK and European residential real estate programme.
Co-living pioneer The Collective has hired Greystar’s Adina David as vice-president in its investment team. David will work alongside former Greystar colleague, investment director Jill Ju, to lead on investment management.
Rider Levett Bucknall has recruited senior consultant Stewart Binns as partner in its Leeds office. Binns spent 31 years at Turner & Townsend and was the national health and further education lead.
Elaine Stratford has joined Bewley as sales and marketing director.
GVA has appointed Penny Hacking to its capital markets platform, where she will work with UK investors active in continental European and other international markets. She joins from Victorios Investment Partners.
Sanderson Weatherall’s north-east valuation team has appointed surveyors Jake West and Jack Deas, and trainee surveyor Daniel Lever.
