Lodha UK has appointed Alex Rusling (pictured right) as sales manager. He joins from CBRE London residential, where he managed and developed marketing strategies for central London projects in the UK and overseas.
Leslie Schroeder (pictured second from right) has joined Carter Jonas’ London residential research team. She joins from CBRE where she worked as a residential market analyst. In her new role she will be responsible for reports and data sets for the firm’s residential offices.
Carterwood has appointed Henry Crosby (pictured left) as a data scientist to strengthen its research systems and data management.
Savills has promoted Laura Salisbury Jones (pictured second from left) to a newly created central London and European cross-border role in its retail division. She will be responsible for retailer target identification, retailer and landlord relations, and managing cross-border acquisition mandates.
Maples Teesdale has appointed planning expert John Bosworth and commercial property specialist Martin Smith as partners. Bosworth joins from Ashfords where he was head of planning. Smith was previously with Hewitsons and specialises in strategic land projects and property joint ventures.
Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation has appointed Mark Coles as head of property services. He joins from Rapleys where he was equity partner.
Faithful+Gould has appointed Stuart Rogers as a regional director for the North West. He joins from RPS Group and has worked on projects including the Manchester Airport City masterplan, the Tower Works mixed-use and residential development in Leeds, and the Leaf Street and Royce Road PRS developments in Manchester.
Ereira Mendoza & Co has promoted Eitan Ben-Zion to associate director.
Planning consultancy Boyer has opened a new Midlands office at 1a Cedars Office Park, Butt Lane, Normanton, Loughborough LE12 5EE. The office will be headed by director Nigel Harris who has more than 25 years’ experience in planning and development.
Specialist retail property agency @retail has appointed Pete Townsend as a graduate surveyor in the Newcastle office. He will work across the North East dealing with lettings, sales and professional work in the region’s high streets and shopping centres.

Nexus Planning has appointed Paul Landsberg as an associate in its London team. He joins from Wandsworth Council and has 15 years’ public sector experience in large mixed-use developments, infrastructure projects and estate regeneration.
CBRE has appointed Nick Brennan as a director in its London advisory and transaction occupier team. He joins from JLL where he has held roles in Hong Kong and London, advising occupiers on office requirements, lease negotiations and space optimisation.
Maria Oakman has joined Assura as a surveyor dealing with its primary care building portfolio.
DPP has promoted Ryan Grant in Manchester, Nicola Waller in Newcastle and Matthew Rhodes in Leeds to planners. Jonathan Burns has been made an associate director in Manchester. Jen Patterson has joined the Newcastle office as a senior planner. Patterson has experience in rural diversification, renewable energy and commercial and residential projects.
Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has appointed Madeleine McDougall as head of its commercial real estate team. She replaces John Feeney, who was appointed to lead Lloyds’ global corporates division earlier this year.
Woods Bagot senior associate Colin Devereaux is relocating to the firm’s workplace interiors team in London. He joined the firm in 2008 and has previously worked in its Sydney and San Francisco offices.
Mike James has set-up a property marketing company at Watling Court, Orbital Plaza, Watling Street, Cannock, Staffs, WS11 0EL.
The London office of Ingleton Wood has appointed Andrew Wright as a senior associate in structural engineering. He previously worked for law firm DWF and engineering consultancy Clarkebond.
Cushman & Wakefield has appointed former head of transactions at Goldman Sachs International Byron Tudor to lead its portfolio services centre in Budapest, part of the firm’s EMEA Global Occupier Services platform.
Martin Hembra has joined Haslams as director of lettings. He has previously worked for Romans and Countrywide.
Dennis Markey has joined Gen² as chief executive. A fellow of the RICS, he joins from NHS Property Services.
Melanie Sharpe has joined law firm Baker Botts’ real estate and construction group as special counsel based in the London office.
LK2 Architects has recruited Aimee Rasen as an architectural assistant and Luke Roberts joins as an apprentice technologist.
CBRE Hotels has appointed Paul Collins as head of hotel investment properties for the UK and Ireland. He will be responsible for leading the hotels transactional business across the UK and Ireland.

Harris Lamb has appointed Ruth Stanton as facilities manager to support its growing property management portfolio. She joins from CBRE.
