People and companies: Aitchison Raffety appoints associate director

She joined the business five years ago and primarily works in the residential sector, undertaking valuations and leasehold reform work. In her new role, she will be responsible for residential valuations in Berkshire and the surrounding areas.  Health and care property developer Prime has appointed Richard Powell (pictured, right) as director of construction strategy. He was formerly group construction director at St Modwen Properties until 2019.  Jay Chauhan has joined Principle as a customer services executive after eight years’ experience at Mainstay Residential Management. She will be charged with looking after the full range of block, estate, residential rented and commercial units in its portfolio.  Hanover Green Retail has hired Alice Grindrod as a senior surveyor in its agency team. She has more than three years’ experience in the London retail and leisure market and previously worked at KLM Retail.  Glenhawk has appointed former Bank of Ireland and Amicus executive Paul Gavin as business development manager to accelerate growth in the Midlands, North of England and Scotland. Based in Manchester, Gavin will be responsible for promoting Glenhawk’s expanding product proposition with intermediaries, professional introducers and direct clients, including its regulated bridging product. MAC Construction Consultants has bolstered its senior management team with the appointment of director Richard Bellis. He will join the firm’s cost and project management team, which is based in Manchester. Bellis has worked for SME and international consultancies and has expertise in the delivery of cost and project management services for private developers in the industrial and commercial arenas.  Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Adam Lowe as a partner in its UK healthcare team, with a focus on transactional and development across health and social care. He joins from Assura, where he worked for more than a decade, most recently as a business development manager working with NHS trusts and GP surgeries. Paul Fosh Auctions has expanded its team as it continues to benefit from taking its auction business online. Angie Davey has joined as regional valuer, Louise Quinn-Morris has been appointed PA to the auctions managing director, James Spear has joined as digital marketing executive and John Hoare has been appointed as lettings negotiator. Cromwell Property Group has appointed Eeva Saravuo as manager of its new £1bn pan-European wooden building fund, set up with Finland-based Dasos Capital. Saravuo was formerly a manager for Aberdeen Standard Investments’ Finnish and Nordic funds. Knight Frank has recruited Nick Madden as an associate to its residential development team, based in Stratford-upon-Avon.
