JLL Scotland has appointed Louise Bell (pictured left) as senior building surveyor in its building consultancy team in Glasgow. She joins from GVA and has worked on refurbishment projects in Scotland involving the private sector as well as universities and local authorities.

Avison Young has appointed Richard Williams (pictured second from left) as principal and managing director of its property management business. Williams joins from CBRE and has more than 30 years’ experience in strategic property and asset management across all sectors, including banks, private equity, funds and property companies.

Bruton Knowles has appointed specialists Richard Gowling (pictured second from right) as GIS and data systems manager and Robert Cant as senior building surveyor in the commercial team.

CBRE has appointed Hannah Lowe (pictured right) as an assistant surveyor in the advisory and transactions services team in Glasgow.

Colliers International has appointed Carys Allen to its national capital markets team in Bristol. She previously worked for JLL and is experienced in property and asset management, office agency, development and valuation advisory.

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Dan Taylor and Mike Smith to its rating team in Birmingham. Taylor has joined as partner and head of the rating team and Smith joins as an associate.

HOK has named John Prevc as regional leader of urban design for its London practice. Prevc specialises in the strategic design and delivery of large-scale mixed-use and higher education projects.

Samantha Catlin has joined Vail Williams as an associate from the National Trust, where she was lead building surveyor specialising in heritage property.

CBRE Global Investors has appointed Eric Decouvelaere as head of retail EMEA, John Mulqueen as head of offices EMEA and Frans van Toor as head of transactions EMEA.

Barclays Corporate Banking has appointed Jess Tomlinson as head of real estate in London. Nick Mayberry has been appointed as head of the North & Scotland and South East & Eastern real estate teams.

OBI has appointed Elizabeth Bisby as its chief operating officer and company secretary.

Boris Cappelle has been appointed head of Savills France.

Alder King has promoted Jonathan Rodaway and Ben St Quintin  to partners in Bristol. In the Exeter office, Will Acock has been promoted to associate.

Addington Capital has recruited Mike McGovern as a partner and head of development. He joins from developer Eastern and Oriental. McGovern will be responsible for Addington’s existing projects, including the office-to-residential conversion of One Lampton Road, Hounslow.

Ask Real Estate has appointed Sarah Woodmansey as development executive. She joins from Keir Group, where she specialised in development management on high-profile schemes across the North. In her new role, Woodmansey will support the delivery of Viadux in Manchester city centre and Gateshead Quays on Tyneside.

Anthology has promoted chief operating officer Steve Bangs to managing director. He takes over the role from Mark Dickinson, who will remain as non-executive chairman. Bangs has been COO since joining the firm in 2014 and has more than 30 years’ experience working for major building contractors and residential property developers.

Baytree Logistics Properties has appointed Dominik Weis as senior development manager for Germany, based in its Frankfurt office.

Jemma McAndrew and David Eden have joined Cushman & Wakefield as partners from JLL. Based in London, they will be part of the UK valuation and advisory team and will work across all sectors.

ESO Real Estate has appointed Zena Namih as a director to lead real estate asset management, and Sunny Sanghera as an associate in the investment team.

Crowell & Moring has hired Robin Baillie to its London office as head of its infrastructure practice in the UK and Europe. He joins from Squire Patton Boggs.

Malcolm Hollis has appointed Tom James and Oliver Ansell in Birmingham as building surveyors. James Gibbs has joined the Manchester office as a surveyor in the measured surveys team. Kevin Grego has been recruited as a senior associate in the Belfast office. Richard De Rooij joins the Amsterdam office as a consultant. Ross Uren has been appointed as a senior chartered building surveyor in the Bristol office. In the London City office, Steve Clarke joins as a senior chartered building surveyor in the project management team.

Invel has appointed George Constantinides as chief financial officer. The investment firm focuses on real estate and distressed debt across Europe.

Rendall & Rittner has appointed John Bromilow as chief information officer and statutory board director.
