People and companies: Cluttons make lease advisory hire

Eleanor Deeley (pictured) has been appointed deputy managing director of the Deeley Group, a firm started by her grandfather in 1936. She was formerly a partner at Cushman & Wakefield and head of the Midlands residential team.

Cluttons has appointed Chris Jakes (pictured) as head of lease advisory and compulsory purchase. He was previously at CBRE and Kinney Green.

M&G Real Estate has appointed Jose-Luis Pellicer as a board member and head of investment strategy and research. Based in London, he will provide leadership for the property research, product development, responsible property investment and performance management teams. Pellicer joins from Patrizia, where he was head of the research team.

Thor Equities has appointed David Hunt-Cuadrado, managing director of Europe and head of logistics acquisitions, to spearhead the launch of ThorLogis, a new division specialising in the logistics sector. He was previously European director at Logicor. He will work with newly appointed vice president of acquisitions Sam Brassington to oversee the company’s global logistics acquisitions and developments.

Queensberry has appointed Alex Hyams as an asset manager. He previously worked for Morgan Management. Rob Hughes joins as development manager and Kris Musial joins as development project manager.

Colliers International has recruited Andy Hay as head of EMEA real estate management services. He will be responsible for driving the growth of the firm’s REMS division through improving client experience, developing relationships and optimising its EMEA service delivery model.

Central London property consultant Edward McCulloch has joined Harding Green from Douglas & Gordon. He brings extensive residential sales knowledge and client relationship management experience to the business, which was launched two years ago by former Chestertons director, Nick Carter.

Investor ICG Enterprise has appointed Gerhard Fusenig as non-executive director. During his 25-year career, Fusening has worked for organisations including UBS, Credit Suisse and Standard Life Aberdeen.
