Emma Payne (pictured, left) has been appointed project manager for Eden, New Bailey, a pioneering £36m sustainable office development in Salford, by the English Cities Fund.
Nicola Jones (pictured centre), a senior project manager at Gleeds, has been named national chair at Women in Property. Jones, who is a former South Wales branch chair based in Cardiff, replaces Stride Treglown director Rachel Bell.

Construction technology provider Causeway Technologies has appointed Leisa Docherty (pictured, right) as chief people officer, a role she previously held at Sage.
Aitchison Raffety has appointed Harry Torrance as a director in the Birmingham team. He joins the valuation team and will be responsible for the West Midlands and Birmingham regions, as well as expanding the firm’s wider offerings in lease advisory, building surveying and compulsory purchase.
Matthew Brear has been promoted to director of land and development at Dacre, Son & Hartley. He joined the firm 12 years ago and specialises in residential land and development work.
BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Elliot McNish as senior associate director in the national markets office agency team. He joins from Vail Williams.
Property consultant GCW has expanded its team to build on its town centre expertise with the addition of Chris Kenealy and George Cook to the owner team, and Charlie Hanrahan to the occupier team.
Jeffrey Prempeh has joined JLL’s UK industrial and logistics team as an associate. He will manage multi-let spaces for clients in east London and the eastern home counties. He was previously a senior associate at Glenny.
VTS has expanded its UK team with the appointment of John Campbell as senior director, Manisha Patel as senior implementation manager, Adeola Fari-Arole as implementation manager, and Will Curtis as content co-ordinator.
Macquarie’s UK BTR platform Goodstone Living has appointed Lee Hawkins as construction director from Greystar Real Estate Partners to lead its development pipeline. Lizzie Pennant joins as general counsel and will advise the board on all governance, compliance and reputational issues.
London law firm Howard Kennedy has appointed Edward Cooper as a partner in its real estate dispute resolution practice. He joins from Taylor Wessing.
Kieran Blaydes has joined Kingswood Homes as a senior planner to support its growth strategy.
IM Land, the strategic land arm of Solihull-based IM Properties has appointed Ian Deverell as senior planning manager and Steve King as senior technical manager. Both will provide masterplanned, turnkey sites that can be developed into new homes.
Pluto Finance has expanded its London office with the appointment of Guy Norman as lending director. He joins from RedOak Property, where he was head of purpose-built student accommodation and residential projects.
Barkby Group has appointed Simon Jones as group property director. He was formerly head of UK strategic asset management at CBRE, responsible for driving returns and capital values across office, logistics, retail and mixed-use real estate in the UK.
Savills has expanded its building and project consultancy team with the appointment of Andrew Hezelgrave as a director, based at its London head office. As part of the technical due diligence team, he will work on major instructions offering commercial advice on transactions for clients across all asset classes. He joins from Black Cat Building Consultancy.
Investment and development firm Fabrix has hired Debbie Whitfield as urban impact director, part of its commitment to driving positive urban change for London. She joins from New London Architecture, where she worked for 15 years and has extensive experience in connecting business, government, and communities in the built environment.
Ryden has recruited Shahid Ali as a partner to support the growth of its Scottish planning team. He was previously a director at JLL and specialises in providing strategic advice for major development projects and negotiations with regulatory authorities.
Henry Blomfield has joined Colmore Capital as an investment analyst. He is responsible for managing existing assets and evaluating new investment opportunities.
