Alistair Elliott has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of LondonMetric Property.
Henley Investments has appointed Monica Popescu as investment director. She will be responsible for identifying and executing investment opportunities across Europe.
Savills Investment Management has hired Claire George as chief technology and operations officer in its London office.
Graham Jacobs has joined Centrick’s valuation team in the Southampton office as a consultant valuer, responsible for the south coast region.
Harper Dennis Hobbs has appointed Rob Clifford as director of business rates and Akil Philip-Forde as travel retail analyst. Peter Schaverien has been promoted to executive director and James Hiscox to associate director.
LCP has appointed Richard Honick to associate legal director, Neil Harrison, Ruth Bourton and Robin Kennedy to senior legal counsel, and Danielle Hall to legal counsel.
James Little has joined Vail Williams’ Thames Valley office team as a senior surveyor in the valuation division. Oliver Hockley has joined the Portsmouth office as a surveyor in the industrial and offices division.
Mark Vickery has been appointed as director of business development at PfP Capital. He joins from Legal & General Investment Management.
Lauren Mclean has been appointed as lettings manager at Whittle Jones Midlands.
Obituary
Stanley Michael Brecker, co-founder of Brecker Grossmith has passed away at the age of 91. A revered figure in the London commercial property scene for more than 60 years, he is remembered as a trailblazer and “live wire”.
Founded in 1956, Brecker Grossmith grew from a small fourth-floor room in Wigmore Street, W1, to a firm of more than 70 people now co-owned by Stanley’s son, Richard. Clients have included Sir Max (later Lord) Rayne, creator of Merchant Securities, which merged with Derwent Valley to become Derwent London; Centre Point developer Harry Hyams; and Hammerson.
