Construction company Mace has appointed Jessica Lovell (pictured, left) as its first low carbon structural engineer. She will lead the organisation’s client carbon reduction target. Lovell joins from Robert Bird Group, where she set up the company’s sustainability steering group.
BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Giles Thomas (pictured, centre) as senior director in the national industrial and logistics agency team. He has more than 30 years’ experience and previously worked for Matthews & Goodman.

Snigdha Jain (pictured, right) joins Turley as director of its new ESG asset management consultancy and Lizzie Bolton joins the sustainability team as an assistant consultant.
Mike Rowlands has joined CBRE as an executive director in its national investment team to develop client relationships and new business opportunities across the UK. He joins from BNP Paribas and Strutt & Parker.
Madison International Realty has appointed Alex Lukesch as head of European investments, based in London. He joined the firm in 2008.
HG Living has appointed Craig McPhail as a director. He joins from Montagu Evans, where he was a partner and head of alternative living. James Young has joined as executive director.
CapitalRise has strengthened its senior lending team with the appointment of Simon Brown as head of lending and Saif Khichi and Ed Groves as credit analysts.
Nick Mann has joined Aitchison Raffety’s valuation team as a senior surveyor. Based in the London team, he will provide valuation coverage from Greater London to the south coast.
CBRE Investment Management has promoted Marius Schöner to head of the EMEA residential operator division, responsible for all residential operator capabilities across the EMEA region. He will continue to serve as head of Germany and Austria.
Leumi UK has hired Chris Stallard as a relationship manager to support the property finance desk’s lending ambitions.
Savills has appointed Michael Lockhart as a director in its London in-town retail team. He will work alongside the wider national retail agency team and cover high street agency and shopping centre leasing.
Chancerygate has appointed Darren Jeal and Paul Stayte as project managers in the Birmingham and Bristol offices, respectively. Mukkarram Ali has joined the finance team from Deloitte; Jessica Aukim has been promoted to office manager; and Katy Evers has been made construction documentation manager.
Ben Jenkinson has joined LDS Sales Guarantees as regional director for London and the South. The former head of development finance products at Homes England will work with lenders and capital providers to harness the latent potential for SMEs to build more new homes.
Buying Solution, the independent buying consultancy for Knight Frank, has recruited Giles Elliott to its prime London team, covering the north and north-west London markets. He previously worked for Savills.
Yorkshire Country Properties has appointed Oliver Bottomley as land and development manager and Suzanne Gagen as sales manager as it aims to deliver £50m of new residential development.
Chris Trew and Peter Baxter have joined Rider Levett Bucknall as partners in its utilities advisory service. They will advise clients on the planning, procurement, and delivery strategy for utilities on developments.
Savills Investment Management has hired Jan Willem Vis as head of client capital for the Netherlands. He joins from BNP Paribas Asset Management.
Knight Frank has appointed partner Chelsea Whelan as head of sales for its Islington office. She joined the firm’s Mayfair team in 2016.
Cushman & Wakefield has appointed partner James Chapman to head its capital markets team across EMEA. Chapman has been with the firm for more than 20 years.
Sovereign Centros has appointment Mike Egerton as a senior asset manager; Mark Stapleton as an asset manager; and Lesya Horchyn as client management accountant.
Housebuilder Countryside has appointed CBRE’s Amanda Clack as a non-executive director. She will serve on the remuneration and nomination committees at Countryside.
