Manchester Life has appointed Jennifer Bendik (pictured left) as chief operating officer of Manchester Life Management. Bendik joined the development company, owned by Manchester City Council and Abu Dhabi United Group in 2016 as head of lettings. In her new role, Bendik will assume overall operational responsibility for the company’s rental portfolio.
Andrew Ryley (pictured second from left) as joined DLBP as director of planning in the city of London office. Ryley is a chartered town planner and has more than 13 years’ experience dealing with projects in both the private and public sectors.
CBRE’s specialist markets division has appointed Alastair Jack (pictured second from right) as director to build the valuation and consultancy team in the UK regional marketplace. Jack joins from JLL and has more than 17 years of property industry expertise, with specialist experience across hotels, licensed and hospitality sectors.
Aitchison Raffety has appointed Martin Powell (pictured right) as business director in its valuation division. Based in the Milton Keynes office, Powell will be responsible for the performance management of the valuation team, and the division’s business development strategy.
Arcadis has appointed Steve Bromhead as UK chief operating officer. Peter Madden will head operations for the Europe, Middle East and UK region. Tom Morgan has been made UK client development director.
KLM Retail has promoted Tom Jamson to associate partner. Jamson acts for occupier and landlord clients, and primarily focuses on central London and designer outlet instructions.
Farebrother has appointed Jonathan Fox as chief operating officer.
Jonathan Prince has joined the Reading office of Savills as an associate director to oversee its new valuation offering. He joins from JLL and has experience in both residential and commercial property.
Willmott Dixon Interiors has appointed Phil Crowther as director of its new office in Birmingham city centre.
Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Richard Shield as partner in its Newcastle office. He will head the development and planning team, advising public and private sector clients.
Matthews & Goodman has appointed Nick Vincent as a senior building surveyor. Based in Liverpool, he will advise clients on building surveying issues to help them optimise the use of their business space and mitigate risk.
Ken Ireland has been appointed chief executive at residential estate agency Coulters.
Mixed-use developer First Base has appointed Richard Hart as design manager.
Eversheds Sutherland has appointed senior construction disputes lawyer Jessica Neuberger as a partner.
Iceni Projects has recruited Justine Entezari as an associate in the Manchester planning team.
Montagu Evans has appointed Craig Wallace as a partner. He joins from JLL and will work in the planning team across Scotland from the firm’s Edinburgh office.
Colliers International has appointed Edward Offenbach as a director in the West End agency and development team, specialising in London offices. He joins from BDG Sparkes Porter.
Savills’ UK residential research team has appointed Sebastian Verity as a director, Josh Rose-Nokes as an associate director and Paul Wellman, previously at EG, joins as an associate.
Miller Mathieson, managing director of CBRE in Scotland and Northern Ireland, has been appointed chairman of the Scottish Property Federation.
James Stacpoole has joined Oxygen real estate as a director specialising in land promotion and residential planning.
Lewis Kent has joined Regal London’s land and planning team as a senior land manager. He has previously worked as a senior development manager for Balford Beatty Investments and Taylor Wimpey.
London-based development manager M3 Consulting has promoted Richard Hollingworth to director, and William Connolly and Alec Smith to senior development managers.
Property Insurance Initiatives has appointed Christopher Kelly as senior account executive working across construction, engineering, terrorism and D&O policies.
Hardies Property & Construction Consultants has expanded its team across its Dundee, Dunfermline, Edinburgh and Glasgow offices, appointing the following trainee building surveyors and quantity surveyors: Molly McGregor, Dunfermline; Grant Cunningham, Dundee; Jack Heneghan, Glasgow; Alana Sneddon, Edinburgh; Kristofer Robinson, Dunfermline; Ryan Ferguson, Dundee; Ronan Whyte, Dundee; and Laura Falconer, Edinburgh.
Redrow has promoted Chris Lilley to regional chief executive with responsibility for the South East, Southern Counties and Eastern regions. Ben Fewsdale has been promoted to South East regional director.
CBRE Leeds has recruited Gary Allen as a director and Dean McNulty as a surveyor in its building consultancy team. Allen joins from Mace Cost Consultancy and will head the project and cost management services in the North East. McNulty joins from GVA and will work with the professional team focusing on dilapidations and building surveys.
