Savills’ Cambridge office has appointed Rebecca Close (pictured, second left) as an associate in its building and project consultancy team and Mark Taylor joins as head of business space in its national office agency team.
Waypoint Asset Management has appointed Steven Kidd (pictured, left) as an asset management director to focus on shopping centres and retail property. He is founder of Mayfield Asset Management.
Devonshire Homes has appointed Angus Cook (pictured, second right) as managing director. He joins from Bewley Homes where he was land and planning director.
Martin Currie has recruited Aimee Truesdale (pictured, right) as a portfolio manager to support the growth of its global emerging markets strategy.
Ben Sanderson will join Aviva Investors in January as managing director of real estate. He has more than 20 years’ experience in UK, continental Europe, and global real estate investment.
CBRE IM has appointed Tania Tsoneva as senior director to lead its research capabilities for global infrastructure. She joins from S&P Global Ratings.
Chancerygate’s Warrington office has expanded its North West team with the appointment of Andy Farrer as development manager and Joe Johnson as project manager.
Hayfield has hired Jon Watts as head of procurement to expand its supply chain. He joins from St Modwen.
CBRE Birmingham has appointed Ben Wisher as a senior director in the capital markets team and Tesni Thacker as a director in the industrial and logistics team. Daniel White joins as head of flexible workspace for the Midlands and Southern regions.
Savills IM has appointed Nicholas Kinsey as its head of logistics for Asia Pacific, based in Bangkok, to develop its logistics capabilities within the Asia Pacific region.
Andrew Burt has been promoted to head of UK building surveying at Knight Frank. He has worked for the firm for eight years and is experienced in a variety of building surveying disciplines, including dilapidations, acquisition surveys and project management.
Ian Tyler will step down as chairman of Vistry Group in May 2022 after eight and a half years in the role. Ralph Findlay will assume the position.
Matthew Simpson has joined Palace Capital as chief financial officer.
Knight Frank has hired Lucy Clifton as an associate in its South East residential development team. In the Bristol office, Jemima Young has joined the graduate programme and Claire Stretton has been appointed as a senior surveyor in the residential development valuation team.
Dermot Crowley has commenced his role as chief executive at Dalata Hotel Group after succeeding Pat McCann who retired from the position.
Tech company Deepki has hired Caroline Tailleferd as chief marketing officer to establish the company as a global leader in ESG real estate and accelerate its growth in France and worldwide.
MetroPM has promoted property manager Faraz Ahmed to associate director. He joined the firm in 2016.
Boyer has appointed Simon Atha as an associate director. He will work on strategic residential land promotion, hospitality, leisure, retail, and commercial development projects in the Midlands.
Emma Woods has been appointed director of quantity surveying at Currie & Brown’s Cardiff office. She will work with existing clients to deliver innovative projects, as well as lead the growth of the company’s residential division across England and Wales.
Women in Planning has appointed Kate Green, associate planner at Avison Young, to the national committee as a co-chair. She will support Alison Mackay and Charlotte Morphet while Mary Fortune is on maternity leave.
Hallmark Care Homes has promoted Aneurin Brown to chief operating officer, where he will oversee the operational direction of the entire company.
