Partner Michelle McGurl (left) has been appointed as head of Osborne Clarke’s PREF practice group. She joined the firm in 2007 and specialises in residential, mixed-use and strategic development work.
Robertson has appointed Joe Guilfoyle (right) as group director of safety, health and environment. He will manage the Robertson Group and Robertson Residential Group businesses across Scotland and northern England, which include construction, housebuilding, infrastructure and engineering.
Nicol & Co has appointed sales manager Erica Hinwood to head up its expansion in Malvern, Worcestershire. She has 12 years’ experience working in the sector, which includes five years as branch principal at Nock Deighton.
Bulleys has promoted James Bird to partner. He joined the firm as a graduate surveyor in 2006.
Savills has appointed Simon Naylor as a director in its lease consultancy team in London. He has worked in the sector for more than 15 years and specialises in industrial and logistics property. He previously worked at JLL.
Law firm Bevan Brittan has appointed Louise Leaver and Deborah Rowntree as partners.
Mayer Brown has appointed Simon Price as a partner in the real estate practice in London. He will take up the role in September. He currently works for Linklaters, where he is a partner and co-leader of the global funds and financial investor group and co-leader of the real estate sector group.
Lawrence Stephens Solicitors has appointed Paul Marsh as a real estate partner. He joined the firm as a senior associate in 2016.
Jon Sealy of Faithful+Gould has been appointed to the board of the Pagabo Foundation, which supports the health of construction workers. He has worked at F+G for more than 30 years and is responsible for the strategic and operational management of staff in offices throughout the UK and Europe.
Colliers International’s head of rating John Webber has been elected to the committee of the rating surveyors’ association.
Savills has appointed Malin Silversvala as head of property management for Sweden. She has more than 15 years’ experience in the industry and most recently ran her own real estate management business.
HBD has recruited Subomi Fapohunda as a senior project manager in London. He joins from WeWork, where he was responsible for the delivery of shared office space.
Retirement village provider Audley has appointed Laura Coupe as general manager at its Nightingale Place site. She joins from a career with the NHS, luxury care homes, and private hospital sectors.
Long Harbour has appointed Stephen Hockaday as senior adviser for the built environment. He has experience in the construction and property industries and will advise the firm on its pipeline of development and strategic land projects. Hockaday was previously head of investments at Laing O’Rourke for over 12 years and built a portfolio of over £2bn in the UK and Canada.
