People moves: Harris Lamb strengthens commercial agency team

Harris Lamb has strengthened its commercial agency team with the appointment of Ashley Brown (pictured, left), a principal surveyor from Birmingham City Council. He joins the business as an agency surveyor.
Savills has appointed Christine Penny (pictured centre) as a consultant in its residential sales team in Bath, Cory Askew will lead the business’s newly established South West London Parks region, and Henry Godsal has been hired as head of the investment strategy and asset management team.
Crestbridge has appointed Craig Leitch (pictured right) as director of real estate services. He will manage a portfolio of corporate real estate clients and support the senior management team.

Helical has hired Elliott Saunders as senior development executive and Matt Redgrave as development executive to support the delivery of its London operations. Saunders was previously a director at Third London Wall, and Redgrave joins from Turner & Townsend.
Klarent Hospitality has appointed Joe Green as transaction director to oversee the hotel investment and management company’s expansion in the UK and Europe. He joins from CBRE.
Rowan Jenkins is the new managing director of development for LS Estates. He joins from Quadrant Estates, where he led the London offices team and helped deliver more than 750,000 sq ft of offices across the capital, including the YY London building in Canary Wharf, E14.
Tritax Symmetry has named David Travis as head of its Manchester office and James Cannon as regional construction director for the North. Travis joins from Hargreaves Land and Cannon from Rider Levett Bucknall.
Urban&Civic has hired Matt Soules from Savills as head of development management. In his new role, Soules will focus on the expansion of the Wellcome Genome Campus in Hinxton, Cambridgeshire.
Student Roost has hired Ashling Fox as managing director. She will oversee the Student Roost management team and collaborate with Greystar to deliver the business’s growth agenda. Fox joins from Bromford Housing.
Construction and property litigation lawyer Clare Reed has joined Shakespeare Martineau as a partner from EMW Law.
Dandara Living has rehired Sam Smith as operations director. He will manage the company’s portfolio of almost 3,000 homes. Smith joins from Dandi, where he was head of operations and mobilisations lead.
Rapleys has appointed Jonathan Bernstein as a partner in its residential division to lead the public sector development consultancy team. He joins from Avison Young, where he served as a director.
JLL has appointed Suketu Shah as head of life sciences for its property asset management business. He joins from Pioneer Group, where he was director of Nottingham assets. Joe Bostock has joined the North West industrial and logistics division in Manchester from WT Gunson.
Cushman & Wakefield has hired Henry de Teissier as a partner to lead the South West logistics and industrial team, advising the firm’s investor and occupier clients across the region. He joins from JLL’s Bristol team.
ActivumSG has hired Nicholas Temperley as a director to strengthen its investor relations team. He will be responsible for project management, product development, capital raising and client services.
Kazi Hussain has joined residential developer and investor Sama Capital as managing director of its corporate advisory business. He was previously head of investment at Pfida.
Investment fund manager Henderson Park has appointed Bob Lee as managing director and global general counsel. Lee joins from Jones Day after almost 30 years as a partner.
Godwin Developments has named Simon Boreham as senior development director. His responsibilities will include acquiring residential-led development prospects nationwide, with an emphasis on the South East.
Ardent has appointed Sharon Daly as a non-executive director. She is chief operating officer at Steer and has worked with Ardent on a range of projects over the past 20 years, most recently the Bank Station upgrade for Transport for London.
Jones Hargreaves has appointed Harry McDermott as an associate director, Kara Boddy as a senior surveyor, and Matthew Jenkins as a senior energy and carbon consultant in London. Alex Ley joins as a senior surveyor in Bristol.
Knights has appointed Sam Lyon as a partner in its corporate team. He joins from Cumberland Building Society.
