People moves: RivingtonHark makes trio of senior hires

This week’s appointments and promotions RivingtonHark has appointed Handan Güler (pictured, left) as senior asset manager from Landsec, where she was responsible for asset management and strategy formulation. Neelum Choudhury has joined as head of sustainability and Edie Cockrell as head of operations and marketing. FORE Partnership has appointed Sarah Trahair-Williams (pictured, right) as development director. She joins from Cubex and previously led the development of Halo, Bristol’s first BREEAM Outstanding office building. Julia Chowings has been appointed co-head of Gerald Eve’s Birmingham office, working alongside Jon Ryan-Gill to provide planning and development consultancy across UK regional and London markets. Ryden has promoted Alan Gilkison to managing partner. Based in Glasgow he was previously head of agency and development. Newton has appointed George Fox as a director. He specialises in strategic development land and development land agency. Iain Innes has joined Avant Homes as area director in Scotland to expand operations across the country. He joins from housebuilder Dandara. Pioneer Group has appointed directors: Fred Reynolds to manage the development pipeline; John Mackenzie as head of operations in Scotland; and Subjit Jassy as head of development and asset management. BAM has appointed Abbe Pickthall as managing director of its integrated facilities management business. She has worked for CBRE, Mitie and ENGIE. Natasha Mallett has joined Lester Aldridge’s residential property and conveyancing team in Bournemouth. Knight Frank’s new residential office in Yorkshire will be headed by Melissa Lines, who has more than 26 years of experience in residential and new build developments. Whitbread has hired Jill Anderson as its property acquisition manager. She will lead the expansion of Premier Inn in the north of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Chris Legg has joined JLL as associate director in its cost management team focusing on the life science sector. Mayfair Capital Investment Management has hired Amirali Kasraie to lead the pan-European investment programme. Aldermore has added Simon Lefevre and Chris Smith to its asset finance team. Lucinda Lay has joined CBRE’s regional sustainability team to support its ESG strategy. Based in Manchester, she will support Northern England and Scotland to develop a biodiversity net gain proposition. SHW’s new graduate intake includes Jamil Hornsby-Odoi and Jack Barker in planning, Andy O’Driscoll in agency, and Tom Papenfus in commercial. Andrew MacLeod has joined the Brighton office and Tom Murphy the London office, while graduate James Yip and assistant surveyor Nick Smith have joined the building consultancy team. Soho Housing Association has appointed Andrew Billany as chair of the board. He is corporate director of housing and community safety at Dorset Council. Chestertons has appointed John Ennis as its chief executive officer. He joins from Foxtons, where he worked for 23 years. Graham + Sibbald has hired Philip Costa as director in its commercial valuation team in London. He joins from Strettons. David Shepherd will join Bradford Council as strategic director for place at the beginning of 2023. He is currently a director at West Yorkshire Combined Authority. Strutt & Parker and BNP Paribas Real Estate have appointed Victoria Allner as director in the private client department.  She has been at Strutt & Parker for more than six years, most recently as senior associate director. Jason Willetts has joined Connells as managing director for land and new homes. Raffi Killian has joined Delin Property as head of investments to help support the company’s growth into real estate fund management.
