Executives at Persimmon, the UK’s second-largest housebuilder, have said they will give away more of their bonuses, following sharp criticism of a £110m payout for chief executive Jeff Fairburn.
In its 2017 annual report, which it published on Monday, Persimmon announced that Mr Fairburn, finance director Mike Killoran and managing director Dave Jenkinson would all waive their annual bonuses in 2018.
However, the three will all still receive substantial payouts under the company’s long-term incentive plan.
