Personal computer pioneer proposes to sell Amstrad to Psion
Alan Sugar, chairman of Tottenham Hotspur, is planning to sell Amstrad to Psion. Psion, the fast-growing electronic organiser maker, said it was about three weeks away from settling the terms for a takeover. The sale is anticipated to fetch at least £235m.
