The Professional Footballers Association, the world’s oldest sporting union, has bought 7-8 Philpot Lane, EC3, a 4,274 sq ft, Grade II* listed freehold office block opposite the Walkie Talkie.
The PFA will move its headquarters to Philpot Lane from its offices at 10 Bow Lane, EC4.
Bilfinger GVA was instructed to seek bids of £5.2m on behalf of a private investor. Matthews & Goodman advised the PFA.
