PFP pays £15.9m for Touchstone

Social housing group Places for People (PFP) has bought Touchstone, which manages 20,000 private rented properties, for £15.9m.

PFP said the deal was primarily about expanding the range of housing it offered but it would “create cost synergies” to help the group build more social housing. Savills says the rented sector has expanded from 2.5m homes in 2002 to 4.8m today.
