Phoenix Inns has sold a portfolio of eight free-of-tie pubs to Wiltshire brewers Ushers of Trowbridge for a sum “well in excess of £1m.” The pubs are located in Bristol, Devon, Somerset and Wiltshire.
Phoenix, one of the UK’s largest pub companies, says it has now sold more than 250 properties to trade buyers and existing tenants, as part of a long-term drive to improve the quality of the estate.
