Venture capital firm Pi Labs has promoted Hugo Silva to partner.
Silva joins the leadership team alongside founder and managing partner Faisal Butt and partners Michael Murad and Stephania Ponzo.
He joined the firm in 2019, and has been responsible for sourcing new portfolio deals and managing Pi Labs’ portfolio companies, including follow-on investments. He led the investment into Fulfilled, a tool to optimise warehousing operations, and into Contilio, software that tracks, predicts, audits and operates asset managers’ portfolios.
Butt said: “Hugo is laser-focused on finding innovative early-stage startups, and not afraid to take the calculated risk of backing founders harnessing cutting-edge new technologies that have real potential to scale, while positively transforming and decarbonising our built world.”
