Pidgley Junior to leave Berkeley Homes

Tony K Pidgley, managing director of Berkeley Group’s subsidiary company, Berkeley Homes and son of A W Pidgley, the group’s managing director and founder, is to leave the company.

Tony K Pidgley said: “Although I have enjoyed my time with Berkeley Group enormously and am proud of my achievements in both integrating Thirlstone Homes and reorganising Berkeley Homes, I now wish to move on to a new challenge.” He will leave the group at the end of April.

Rob Perrins, 35, and currently finance director of Berkeley Homes, will succeed him as MD.

Tony K Pidgley joined Berkeley Group in August 1998 when it acquired his company, Thirlstone Homes. Upon joining, he became MD (Berkeley Homes) with a role to reorganise and restructure Berkeley Homes.

Berkeley chairman Roger Lewis said: “The board wishes to thank Tony K Pidgley for his considerable contribution to the Berkeley Group and is sorry that he is leaving. We wish him every success in the future.”
