Pillar Properties has boosted its exposure in the retail parks sector to 157,930 sq m (1.7m sq ft) covering 14 parks. It represents a total investment of £165m.
It has bought Fleetsbridge Retail Park, at Poole, Dorset, from Hermes for £12m. The 12,634 sq m (136,000 sq ft) scheme should benefit from a programme of improvements to the property and retail mix.
It has also bought the St James Retail Park, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, from Asda St James for £9.8m. MFI, Carpet Depot and Maples are among tenants of the 8,082 sq m (87,000 sq ft) scheme.
