Pinnacle Group has appointed former Haringey Council leader Claire Kober as its new director of housing.
In her new role, Kober will lead Pinnacle’s housing management services.
Her remit will include improving customer experiences within existing contracts, new housing operating models, ongoing development of the PRS offer, and refining Pinnacle’s leasehold block management services.
Perry Lloyd, group chief executive of Pinnacle, said: “Housing and community are at the core of Pinnacle Group and Claire’s leadership skills and understanding of the sector are exactly what we need to develop our housing management services division.”
Kober announced she was to step down from her council role in January, throwing the future of Haringey Council’s joint venture with Lendlease into doubt.
At the time, she said she would not sign off the Haringey Development Vehicle, and planned to leave the decision to the next leader.
Lendlease, the council’s partner on its under-pressure £2bn HDV joint venture, has acknowledged that new councillors “may have different views”.
