Solicitor Pinsent Curtis has completed a PFI project for the construction and operation of a new 452-bed hospital in Worcester.
The project is to be financed by a £97m AAA-rated bond issue. The bond is backed by American insurer Ambac.
Catalyst Healthcare (Worcester) plc has contracted to build the hospital and supply non-clinical services, with Worcester Royal Infirmary NHS Trust providing clinical services.
This week Pinsent Curtis also closed on a PFI deal with the Defence Housing Executive for the construction of 145 houses at RAF Cosford and Shawbury in the West Country.
