Law firm Pinsent Masons will move to the Lucent office building in Glasgow city centre next year as it prepares for further growth.
Pinsent Masons will occupy part of the fourth floor as well as the entire fifth and sixth floors, totalling 27,561 sq ft, on a 15-year lease. The fifth floor features private external terraces, while the sixth floor offers a new rooftop reception and meeting space for clients, alongside a social space with terrace.
The £35m workspace is being developed by Orion Capital Managers, after it bought the vacant building in 2021.
Lucent, which spans 91,000 sq ft, also offers leisure facilities, including a fitness studio, a contemplation suite, 95 cycle storage spaces and a bike repair station.
Barry McCaig, head of Glasgow at Pinsent Masons, said: “Post-Covid, we all recognise that weekly working patterns have changed, and staff have a wish list and requirements of the office environment. Our vision for Lucent will exceed expectations and ensure Pinsent Masons remains an attractive proposition for current and future employees, wherever they are on the career path.”
Ryden and Knight Frank acted on behalf of Orion; CBRE represented Pinsent Masons.
