Marston’s is understood to have appointed Sapient Corporate Finance to evaluate a potential sale of the brand, which has 20 bars with an estimated value of at least £40 million. The business has high-profile sites in cities including Birmingham, Brighton, Harrogate and Swansea, as well as on Cornhill in the City of London.
