Selfridges boss Anna Pitcher will stand down at the end of the year when the department store group is sold.
It was announced yesterday that the billionaire Weston family has finalised the disposal to an Austrian and Thai joint venture for a price thought to be close to £4bn. Central Group and Signa Holding will each hold a 50% stake in Selfridges.
Pitcher leaves after 18 years at Selfridges Group. She became the managing director of the Selfridges store in Oxford Street, W1, in 2011 and then managing director of the whole group in 2019.
