PizzaExpress has appointed agents to find 150 delivery sites across the UK over the next five years, following the announcement of its new concept, PizzaExpress Delivered, which has been trialled in Thayer Street, W1, and St Bride Street, EC4.
It is looking for sites to take the concept countrywide and has instructed agents from JLL, Restaurant Site Acquisitions and Metis Real Estate Advisors to find ground-floor shops of between 800-1,200 sq ft.
Customers will be able to pick up pizza orders from the stores but not sit and eat in. Sites need A5 planning consent, or ability to obtain it, as well as onsite and nearby parking.
The firm is targeting locations in densely populated areas with a focus on London, Birmingham, Exeter, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle.
