Placefirst has unveiled plans to turn a vacant office scheme into a £25m, 130-home build-to-rent scheme in Bolton town centre.
The developer is set to submit the plans in December to turn the 1.1ha brownfield site opposite the former Beales/Whittaker store into an avenue of townhouses as well as commercial space.
Construction is earmarked for 2021.
Placefirst chief executive David Mawson said: “Our vision for this Central Street development is much more than just bricks and mortar and is about creating a thriving community in the heart of Bolton.”
