Plans for the £70m Unity Square development in Nottingham are poised to get the go ahead next week.
Council officers are minded to grant consent for Peel Group’s mixed-use scheme opposite Nottingham station.
The proposals include 290,000 sq ft of offices plus restaurants, bars and shops.
In March, Peel announced that Nottingham city council would prelet half of the 50,000 sq ft first office phase, kick-starting the long-awaited project. The first phase also includes a 160-bedroom hotel.
Construction is hoped to begin in 2015.
