Glasgow council has granted outline planning consent for DCI (Holdings)’s 22-storey 190,000-sq ft office tower, to complete the Northgate scheme at Cowcaddens in the city.
The tower will have an investment value of £40m and the asking rent will be £15 per sq ft. It is due for completion in 1990.
The remainder of Northgate totals 180,000 sq ft and is worth £33m. It is three buildings and tenants include DCI themselves. Asking rent on this space was £10 per sq ft, as we reported on September 20 last year.
Agents for the Northgate project are Jones Lang Wootton, Montagu Evans & Son and Permac.
