Plans approved for redevelopment of Logicor Park Daventry

Logicor has outlined its regeneration plans for its logistics park in Daventry, Northamptonshire, which it acquired in 2021.

The transformation comes on the back of the growing demand for warehousing sites across the Golden Triangle.

Logicor is set to deliver 800,000 sq ft of new space across 38.5 acres. Detailed planning consent has been secured for three new warehouses, ranging from 135,000 sq ft to 385,000 sq ft, as well as two on-site gyms, shower facilities and cycle paths.

The redevelopment will also include the upgrade to existing facilities on site, targeting BREEAM Excellent and EPC A certificates.

Work is set to begin later this year and will be completed at the beginning of 2025.

Benniman Construction Group has been appointed as the general contractor and it is expected that 1,000 jobs will be potentially created once the new buildings have been completed and leased.

Charlie Howard, UK managing director at Logicor, said: “The Golden Triangle continues to be the core location for distribution logistics, and we know that our customers want to be located here, so we are delivering warehouses to the region.

“Logicor Park Daventry is an illustration of how we are able to utilise our existing land to bring forward new warehouse opportunities for our customers through development and refurbishments.”
