Bristol-based ASM Properties has submitted a detailed planning application for a 10,683 sq m (115,000sq ft) leisure complex in the Millbay district of Plymouth, Devon. The development is planned for the former depository and laundry site on Millbay Road, which leads to the city’s Royal William Yard.
The scheme will comprise: a 4,459 sq m (48,000 sq ft) 12-screen UCI multiplex cinema; a 3,019sq m (32,500sq ft) Bass Leisure Hollywood Bowl; two restaurants totalling 1,114.8 sq m (12,000sq ft); and a 232.25 sq m (2,500 sq ft) drive-through restaurant and a night club.
Adrian Read, of letting agents Walker Son & Packman, anticipates that detailed planning consent will be granted in August.
