Plans have been submitted to transform a troubled 90,000 sq ft derelict site in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle into 308 flats.
The project, planned by Neptune Baltic, proposes a 12-storey tower with 82 flats, a nine-storey block with 99 flats, and an eight-storey building with 127 flats.
Previous owner Windsor Developments (Liverpool) entered liquidation before winning permission for a mixed-use scheme on the site in July 2012.
Roman Summer Associates submitted the application, calling the site “arguably the most urgent site for redevelopment in Liverpool, in view of its size, visual prominence, and decrepit appearance along one of the city’s busiest roads”.
