EQT Exeter has lodged proposals for the redevelopment of Deacon Business Park, a multi-occupied industrial site located on Moorgate Road North in Merseyside.
The firm, which acquires, develops, leases and manages logistics, office, life sciences and residential properties, bought the scheme in 2021 and has since been engaging with the existing tenants to agree on a phased exit.
According to the plans, the existing facility will be demolished and a new 442,000 sq ft logistics hub, designed by UMC Architects, will be built.
Paul Chatterjee, director of development and leasing at EQT Exeter, said: “There remains a lack of supply in the North West industrial property market, and we are seeing high occupier demand for our existing buildings across the region.”
Gerald Eve is acting as planning consultant. DTRE and CBRE are joint letting agents for the scheme.
