Muse Developments and housing provider Poplar HARCA have lodged plans to build 274 new homes in Poplar, E3.
The plans, lodged with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, will see new business and retail space, a new park and part pedestrianised streets built as part of the scheme. Half of the homes built will be affordable.
Muse development manager Isabelle Asante said: “Our proposed development at Stroudley Walk with Poplar HARCA will provide 274 homes, 50% of which (on a habitable room basis) will be much-needed affordable housing.
“This, together with extensive public realm upgrades, will create a real safe space for all, driving economic and social prosperity right into the heart of the community at a time when it is needed most.”
