MEPC is set to continue the development of NOMA, a 20-acre mixed-use neighbourhood in Manchester, with plans revealed for 2 and 3 Angel Square.
The two buildings will deliver 440,000 sq ft of offices and 40,000 sq ft of other commercial space. More than 250 cycle spaces are planned across the two buildings as well as facilities to encourage active travel.
The plans for the scheme are expected to be submitted in June, with work on site beginning in early 2023, if approved.
The move follows the completion of 1 Angel Square, which opened in 2013 and 4 Angel Square, which is due to be completed in early 2023.
Dan Hyde, development director at MEPC, said: “Since the pandemic, we have updated our proposals for the offices to take into account new thinking around workplace design and to ensure NOMA remains at the forefront of sustainable urban development, setting a new standard for sustainability and net zero carbon.”
