Property developer Stoford and land promoter Gladman have partnered to deliver a new employment park at Wellesbourne Mountford Airfield, near Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire.
The deal could release up to 140 acres of land along the M40 corridor and is part of a promotion strategy to provide a new runway and aviation facilities at the airfield.
The partners plan to share the detailed proposals for the site over the coming months and expect to submit a planning application by the summer.
Andy Hartwright, land director at Stoford, said: “We will be working closely with Gladman, the landowner and Stratford-on-Avon District Council, to assist with the site’s journey through the planning process to the delivery of an employment park. It has the potential to deliver jobs and offer an employment stream for the region.”
Stoford was represented by Savills and Gateley Legal, with Smith Partnership and Legat Owen acting on behalf of the landowners and Gladman.
