Plans submitted for Penrith retail park

Terrace Hill and Cumbrian-based developer Davidson Junction 40 have lodged plans for a 40,000 sq ft retail park in Penrith, Cumbria.
The retail warehouse park, on Ullswater Road, Terrace Hill and Davidson Junction, will include five stores ranging in size from 5,500 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft.
It will also offer 263 on-site car parking spaces, improved pedestrian crossing facilities and a 3,423 sq ft Frankie and Benny’s restaurant.
Duncan McEwan, director of Terrace Hill, said: “This proposal will be complementary to the town centre proposals by Lowther Manelli and Eden Council, attracting a different form of retailer who is not being accommodated in the New Squares proposal and who are seeking representation in the town.”
Knight Frank advised Terrace Hill and Davidson Junction 40.
